so the shop that has my car calls me and tells me that my turbo has blown after the new head was installed,the turbo was the ebay one(Thud)it was workin fine before,now,my old head had bad seals and truly suck,could it be that the new head is so tighly shut,ported with everythin new,that the turbo could not take all the pressure from the engine that just quit.

Edit-the car is already gettin a new turbo(garret t3/t4)

 

No, none of that makes any sense, would not cause your problem.

What caused your problem is the turbo is an ebay one. Some people claim luck with them, all I see is a lot of failure regardless of whether they have oil restrictors or no.
