OT: Picked Up New Ride!!!!
Nice! I wish they had an LSD, but that's gotta be a fun little car!
Not to be too intrusive, but are they selling those at sticker or is BMW adding a premium to the price point?
How does the power and torque feel? Would you compare it to an STi, Evo or E46 M3 by chance?

As far as I know they are selling them at sticker. I actually got mine below sticker because I knew someone at the dealership
I only have 110 miles on the car so far so answering questions about power is going to be a little tough right now. I have to keep it below 4500 rpm's until 1k miles, but up until that point it is quick and the handling and big 6 pot front calipers are awsome. The fit and finish is all BMW, very top notch.
Once I have driven the car a little more I will give a better review.

To my knowledge I think the 1 series carries a new technology introduced by BMW known as Brake Cornering. It applies sly brake application to the inner wheel during corning to give the outer wheel more power to carry through the turns. I guess it acts like a virtual "LSD". Correct me if I am wrong if someone has a better knowledge of this.

What was the price difference because as far as I was aware, the 335i was only a little more base for base with no options.

I am not really sure what you are asking? What was the difference between what I optioned the car out to and what I paid or the difference between the 128 and 135? Sorry.

entering the esses at about 125ish
the thing is fast fast fast...especially with the sstt chip. should be 340-350 to the wheels

Base price difference is $7k. Weight difference is 400lbs!

I got a chance to sit in one at the Auto Show this past weekend. The interior is kinda small with no chance of anyone sitting in the back seats. Other than that I loved it. Great styling and a great power plant. Now I just need to drive one. I don't think this could replace the R at this time and I would definately need a four door as a DD.
