Hey everyone,
I was just at Laguna Seca last weekend (3-22-08 - 3-23-08) hanging out, not racing. I noticed there were quite a few different groups running on Sunday ie - bikes, Hondas, subies, even exotics.
So I headed down to the paddock, and one of the marshals told me it was a Madza appreciation day, and that they do them every 3 months or so. He said that the groups weren't full, and if I had my gear, I could run. Well, I didn't have my gear, but I decided to check up on this. I can't find anything online regarding a schedule.
Has anybody here heard of this, or run at these events? Is it open to the general public like the course marshal said, or is it only private groups?
Please let me know, these look like a lot of fun.
Thanks,

Its a thing for Mazda empoloyees and their families. If registration is down, they open it up to friends of employees. This last event had a very low turnout (I assume because of Easter).
I heard about it in time to go, but not in time to get my car running. Bummer. I've never driven Laguna before

Yeah, it was a real low turnout, maybe 6-8 cars per group. Sad thing is, I was >this close< to bringing my bike gear up to Frisco and renting a bike Saturday. So I would have had my gear. Man, $200 to drive Laguna all day, that's a steal.
