ok so i've noticed that every time i look for superchargers on the internet that they always say there for a honda civic si. i was wondering if i'm just lookin in the wrong spot or what. i have an ex and i would really like to get one. can you put a supercharger in a honda civic ex? and can it be one that says it's for an si or not?

 

no you cannot use a 99-00 civic si one it is for a b16 head. you can use any 88-00 d series one

Jackson racing does make a supercharger for the D16Y8, I think what you keep running into is the popular Vortech application for the B16A2 99-00 civic si. I had to google and search long and hard for it, since http://www.jacksonracing.com does not seem to have a current products available list, but just search for it and you can find them. Prices I found were roughly $2000 shipped

I thought I vaguely remembered Jackson being sold to someone! Sorry, try going to supercharger.com or mossperformance.com Idk if they still make the kits for your car, they are listed as N/A, but I am sure you could find one used

 

Last time i was thinking of a supercharger i emailed jackson racing and they dont make them for SOHC motors anymore. So if you find one its probably going to be used.
