Default koni yellows vs. kyb agx's

so i finally decided to lower the old' vic. im not sure exactly which one will be a better ride quality with lets say... 2" drop would feel like in my em1. i want the fenders to slightlycover the top of the 15" tires. any experience with either would help me out...

p.s. the coilover are gc coilovers, i think it was 375f 350r

Koni hands down, they're worth the extra $$$

I've had Koni's on a couple of my daily drivers and wouldn't get anything else. That said I'm currently running 400F/550R GC & Koni combo on my EG for daily.

It's probably the most adjustable set up out there. Because It's the only setup I've ever used i can't really give you a very good desciption of the ride quality.

I used to have Skunk2 coils with AGXs on my EJ8. Decent setup, lasted me a while too.

Then I went with GC and Koni yellows. It's the better setup, hands down. Both springs were 8 kg/mm front, 6 kg/mm rear = 450 in/lb and 335 in/lb respectively. The GC/Konis have a more refined feel to them in ALL conditions.

btw, you're going to need more than a 2" drop to achieve a slight tuck. I have slightly more than a 2" drop in the front and I still have a 1 finger gap. This is with 15" Si wheels and 195/55 rubber.

I had AGX and G/C on my old car. It was I was very pleased with them. But I Koni is a very respected company when it comes to shock absorbers.

My Brother In Law ordered Koni's from Ebay. They were shipped fast and were correct. It all has to do with WHO you order from.

Koni
