Car Died
Ok well I have 1995 honda accord lx 2.2 non-vtech f22b2. Now one day i was driving it to class came back to my apt got back in and it just died. I wait couple of seconds the lights are no longer dim. I know it isn't the battery. I hear no clicking of the starter. Currently i have my car in the shop and the stupid mechanics still can't figure it out. They put a starter in and well it would work then once they turn it off it does the same thing turn the key and the battery just drains. Does anyone know what the problem is? Please respond soon as possible. thanks
Tell those mental midgets to quit throwing part$ at the problem and DIAGNOSE the problem.
is there power to the start solenoid wire when the key is in the 'crank' position?
Power coming from the back of the ignition switch Black/white stripe wire?
Do any of the ignition switch solder terminals look melted or 'frosty'.
Under hood fuse panel check the 50 amp fuse.
Try the shifter lever in Neutral instead of Park.

ok well when its in the crank position the car lights dim the headlights dont work. when i put it to the off position the car charges back up but still the headlight dont work but the little cargo light lights back up. ok these guys decided to tell me that my ignition switch was bad but the problem but still they haven't got it fixed yet. I dont think none if the wires were melted or frosty. yeah all the fuses are good that was the first thing i checked. any ideas?
