I have a 95 accord with 199k miles. Just today it made a loud noise from the front drivers side like something was hitting. The noise would go away when ever I accelerated or even when I would hit the breaks. It only makes noise when I am coasting. Any ideas what it may be?

 

be more specific on "the noise."
Grinding, clonking, humming? What kinda sound was it? Was it coming from the left or right side?

 

i actually found the answer on another forum. It was my wheel the lug nuts had come lose. For anyone else out there. It sounds like you have a flat tire giving a thumping noise. Thanks for your help.

 

that cant be healthy for the rim.
