Default DC to EK LCA question

I'm considering buying some Function & Form Coilovers for my car, and read/was told I need to add washers for to the rear LCA for them to fit properly. My question(s) is if I buy LCA's such as Function 7 made for the DC/EG chassis will that solve the problem of me not having to add washers? Also what size washers do I need?

You can't put DC/EG rear LCAs on an EK without having major camber problems.

Reuse your stock lca's or order 96-00 Civic Function7 lca's, 92-95 Civic and/or 94-01 Integra lca's are a different length.

Here is the info for the rear camber trick: http://home.earthlink.net/~civ....html

Ok, but I need to know what type/size washer's I need for the rear. I'm going to buy the suspension next week and need to know what I need.

EK arms are a little more than 2" longer than the EG/DC arms, so they are not interchangeable.

Buy a pack of 3/8" zinc washers from Lowes or Home Depot and start stacking them as much as you need to get the right camber.

As for the shocks, you'll need about 10mm total. The center bushing of the EK arm is 10mm shorter than the same bushing on the EG/DC/EF

Remember to use loctite on the upper link bolts to be on the safe side.
