Default Replacement wiper blades?

I think Brad's original 98 vintage blades are officially finished.

What size is stock (driver/pass), and should I get refills or just whole new blade assemblies?

Thanks,
Ed

I'd get a whole new assembly. Autozone should sell them for pretty cheap.

I've also wanted to try those silicone blades. Pretty expensive (~$50, IIRC), but everyone that tried them loves them. I think PIAA, Michelin, and a couple of other companies make them.

22" for driver's side and 18" for passenger side.

I personally get the Honda inserts and rub rain-x on the windshield after every other wash or so. Works great for me.

get the refills from Acura. much cheaper at approx 6bux each.

don't ever throw away your OEM wipers! each complete blade is $48.17CAD.

I installed these 2 weeks ago.

They work.. But so has every other blade that I've bought. Im more curious to see how long they last.

That sounds like the arm and the blade. I replace the whole blade every 35-60k miles. the rubber refill is cheap, replace when it starts streaking or chattering.

I'm trying these out on my EVO now and love 'em. They fit great and look more OEM than the OEMs. Not cheap tho...

I believe the driver side is 22" and the passenger is 18". I just rock the refills from the dealer.

The top of the line Bosch's rock, I can't remember if they are Icon or Excel, whichever is more expensive.

The previous owner of my car purchsed PIAA's. I don't know when exactly, but I've been driving the car for the past three years and they've held up. So that makes them at LEAST 3+ years old.

I have had those for the last year but I can't say much about them since I barely/never drive the car when it rains
