AEM EMS Help
Need some help with the AEM EMS.
My car as of right now, intake, nothing more, but plan in the upcoming months for a header/exhaust.
I realize AEM has two product numbers, 1052 and 1052U. I realize the difference is that U has that Universal Exhaust Gas Oxygen Sensor.
If I have a stock setup with I/H/E looking for about 15-20 whp out of the EMS, do I need the UEGO?
If I do need the UEGO and I buy a used EMS that does not have the UEGO, can I purchase that seperately from AEM, and if so, how much am I looking at?
I also live in PA, and I know the UEGO has a lot to do with emission, so just throwing that out there if that helps.

1. The UEGO helps a lot in turning and also keeping the correct air/fuel mixture. Is it 100% needed? No you can get away without it, but it's very useful.
2. If you get the 1052, you can buy the Wideband O2 gauge and sensor separately for around $300-$350.
3. The AEM EMS is NOT OBDII compatible, so if they plug into your car, you WILL FAIL emissions.
