Default Avid solidmounts/ s372/ fullrace top mount. It will bearly fit.

Before i upgraded to the race cover, last year i ran the s372 standard cover, and full race divided top mount, and hasport mounts. Well the hood would not even close. I had to cut the webbing and still had 1/2 inch that my hood had to stick up. Looked awefull. I got some solid mounts from Franklin at avid. They fitted perfectly and my motor seemed to sit lower, i noticed it by the wastegate almost touching the lower radiator support. So i put my standard cover back on, and twalla it fit. So all of you that are contemplating on running a s372. Get the Avid mounts, you should be fine!

Good to know. There were many still that are not sure as to whether or not Full-Race's manifold will allow fitment fofr their particular chassis.. I know that Arizona forced Inductions has options, but not the rest.

BTW, here's a taste of the S372 "Goldmember" that I created for a customer. This is in the standard cover, since the "race" cover is a bit more expensive. The turbine housing coat was not a problem, but it was over a month to get the compressor cover done. The coating was a bit on the pricey side because of the flake and the double baking that was needed. Let me know your comments. I really won't be doing this option because of the additional cost and longer turnaround time, but if you're willing, please let me know.

It will fit with the standard cover, not the race cover.

Well, Im gonna see what happens with the S372, FR topmount and the newly redesigned Race cover in my EG. We just recently became a dealer for Bullseye and hopefully I'll be getting one of the first ones after the housing is finalized. I was told by David that it might be 2 weeks or so....the sooner the better cause this is all Im waiting on to get the car up and running for this season For the people out there who don't know, the new housing is .5" smaller than the old style and supposedly flows a bit more

So basically, if your motor sits perfectly with other mounts, and you dont want anything to change, don't buy Avid mounts because they couldn't seem to duplicate the stock positioning?

That's cool that it worked for your application, but could definately cause problems for others..

FWIW i have had 3 different sets of mounts in my car with this set up and they have all fit the same....no modifications needed at all.

Joe, you also have an Integra. Its already known that the race cover will fit in them with FR topmount with no modifications. An EG is different (obviously space wise) and I guess Antilag forgot to mention that this post revolved around the use of the Avid mounts in the EG chassis
I'll be posting some pics when I get mine in using my own solid insert'd Hasports with the new style race cover on the FR topmount and oem steel hood in my EG.......hopefully I'll just have to cut the webbing on the hood and thats it ::fingers crossed::

My solid avids fit exactly the same as my hasports. My intercooler pipes are pretty "picky" and need exact alignment so if they were off at all it wouldn't work

I've already confirmed with Full Race they they have not made any changes to the T4 flanged top mount since its been on the market with the exception of the divided housing / twin gate option which did not change the location of the turbo, they simply added the wall in the collector and the two wg inlet tubes. They only changed the T3 top mount.

eg dc chasis is the same.. difference is for some sort of reason, the engine in the eg chasis sits a bit higher...

Correction, flip that

The T4 divided topmounts place the turbo lower. Currently T3 open and T4 open place the turbo @ the same height as always.

Also there isn't a "wall" in the collector.

possibly, but i personally have/had all of these parts and an s366 and the 366 doesnt even come close to fitting with a fullrace topmount either.

from what i have seen it has to do with distance to the headlight/upper rad support area

i think they fit in integras because they are a little longer from the engine mounts.

well, it fits on an eg, but the hood lenght is shorter than the dc chasis, thats why it fits in a teg... it makes the motor sit bit taller than in an eg rather than a dc as well.. im buiding a top mount right now h22 in a ek chasis, with the s372.. i will see how that goes..

So the divided topmount has been changed since its first been introduced then??
