ECU/ Tuning question

I am going ls/vtec and I have a chipped p28 setup for my car now... My question is what will happen once I build the car and I have it tuned? Will they just reflash the ecu or will they not mess with that?

they will remap the ecu, adjust it to the right air/fuel ratio and vtec crossover point.u wont need a new chip.

even though its for my b16 stock? Then why do people say they reflashed their ecus?
