This is my lower radiator hose.
I'm trying to take out the thermostate.
I discovered that my state is blocked.
Which screws do i open, to get it out.

you dont have to take off the hose, but it would make the job easier.
you dont have to take out the bolt with the wires running to it but it would also make it easier if you did.
I would just disconnect the hose, remove all three bolts. replace the thermostat and replace everything.
shouldn't take more than 5-10 minutes.

dam it looks just fine.
the spring is working fine on it too.
But my car was overheating and the lower radiator hose was not heating up that is the thermostate right,
I know it sounds stupid but how old is your radiator cap? could be a bad cap. My friends car had a blipping idle and was over heating and after we replaced the rad- cap it was fine.

Problem resolved.
I just went out to auto zone and purchase a new thermostate for $6 bucks.
Installed it and the car runs like a champ.
