Who has the best MPG in their R ?
After become a cheap fock, well always been
I have been trying to save money, especially with gas
So with the trip home I was on my best behavior and achieved 36.24 MPG and my lowest was 28.60 MPG, but that was with in town driving.
Have anyone really tried to stretch out the fuel ?

Low 30's/high 20's coming back form topeka, 1/4" front toe out, in desperate need of a tune up, and gulping a quart of oil every 600 miles. On **** 91 octane mid-west cat pee.
Best ever for me was 34.2 on the highway.
I do primarily in town driving so I average around 29 normally.
At a Road course I get 116miles per tank.

My highest was 31-33mpg, coming back from Topeka, with about the same conditions as solo-x. Funny that the only time I do long trips, I'm loaded down with tires and jacks, etc.
Usually about 28 commuting.

It's all about keeping your foot out of the gas. That includes shifting early, or downshifting to keep yourself from using the pedal.
My highest:
Teg: 37
91' Civic: 42 *AC
93' Civic EX: 41 *AC

Yeah it's kind of weird like that. When I upped my compression and cammed I've ran nothing but 100 octane, I don't know how true this is but to my knowledge the higher octane burns a little slower?
