Default BOTI Press Release - YoParts.com Signs on as Offical Online Retailer for 2008!!

The Battle of the Imports announced today that a formal agreement has been reached with YoParts.com to become the Official Online Retailer for the 2008 season. YoParts.com is the industry's first true wholesale club offering members access to over 200,000 top name performance parts and accessories. With parts being shipped from warehouses all over the country, members will realize savings starting with their very first purchase.

"We are very excited about partnering with YoParts.com," commented Frank Choi, Battle of the Imports. "Their business model is ingenious and with warehouse locations all over the country, members from either coast can take advantage of reduced shipping costs and faster transit time. Everybody wants their parts yesterday."

Additionally, YoParts.com has agreed to become the presenting sponsor for the Battle of the Imports scheduled for May 10 at New England Dragway (Epping, NH). "This was an excellent opportunity for us since this event will be in our backyard," commented Tom Masiero, C.O.O., YoParts.com.

"We are so excited here at yOparts to partner with the BOTI - the original racing body of sport compact drag racing. We feel that this partnership will allow us to be able to help even more diehard racers with the ability to save money and save time! Our industry first wholesale club is built for the true diehard enthusiast in mind. We feel that a commitment to the sport and it's racers is crucial at this time and we are glad we can partner with the BOTI in taking things to the next level." added Masiero.

As a bonus, YoParts.com will be posting contingency in both the Street and Sportsman classes. Eligibility requirements are paid active membership prior to the event and displaying an official decal. YoParts.com will be offering special membership programs throughout the racing season for all competitors. For additional information, please visit: http://www.YoParts.com

finally i can say something about this "yo Parts" company. (since his sponsered sticky is locked). Your prices arent the cheapest or even close to cheapier. I went through skunk2 and other things and just type them in on ebay. And bam $50 bucks cheaper even when paying to be a member of your site. What a joke this company is. Dont claim to have Wholesale Prices, because there just not. Infact if someone wanted to they could take that up as false advertisment. All it would take is a little work calling some of these companys and asking what there wholesale price is and compare with you. The people on ebay look to be selling wholesale and id assume there making some pocket money also. I looked up skunk2 pro series intake manifolds and your company consisntly rates up $50 dollar average over the ebay cost, that also come with free shippinhg.

^^^^

you do realize there is a diffeence between a company which houses product (read: no drop shipping) vs. someone who has 1 or 2 products, in house, on a good day? anybody can give products away. offering wholesale is a great way to keep racing alive as it's not cheap to build a car. not to mention, you should support the people who support the scene. last timei checked, ebay didn't sponsor anything.

I assume you were looking at the "Free Trial Pricing" which is set to MAP "Min Advertised Pricing" for the manufactures guidelines.. I can assure you that our prices that our paying members have access are below Ebay prices on 90% of the items we sell.. send me a part request.. and I am sure we can change your mind..

Also right in the area where pricing is shown it's says "Paying members get it at 5-15% cheaper" ??

Got to remember guys you want people to give back you got to give them something to give back. No one is going to fork money back @ the sport for the hell of it.

Tom I respect you for all that you have done keep doing what your doing...

Bro you need some help. First things, a company is not going to discuss its actual wholesale price to a call-in customer who is not a dealer of their product. Number 2; Ebay prices on the PRODUCT may be cheaper, however look at the SHIPPING. They will adjust the price to appear cheaper, and then look at the shipping. I've bought products through Tom, at the same price that a local dealer pays for the exact same product, direct from the manufacter.
