Sill Panel, 91 Civic LX
I would like to replace the sill panels on my 4-door 91 Civic LX. I looked at the drawings at http://www.bkhondaparts.com (for example, part #04631-SH1-A10ZZ, under "outer panel") and at the car itself. I am baffled at how the panels attach. They seem like they are continuous with the rear quarter panels (= rear fenders, if I have the vocabularly right), and the pillars between the front and back doors. I see no fasteners for it on my car.
Anyone have suggestions based hopefully on doing this before?
I will be at the junkyard in a few days to see if I can tear one off and get more insight.
I searched the archives here using keyword "sill" and came up with nothing helpful.

You will not be able to just tear one off. Those are part of the chassis of the car. They will need to be cut out carefully and then welded back in. Not a job for someone that does not have alot of auto body repair skills. Best thing to do is to take it to a shop.
