Default CRVTEC with prelude block?

I was told that i could use the block from an older prelude with a 2.0 for a CRVTEC engine swap and not have to do anything with internals. just get a gsr head and put on it.
i also read that the prelude engine wasn't very strong.

can anyone clarify which one of these is correct??
thanx!!

Won't work. Head bolts are in different locations.
