b16 fuel pump and red line problem????
ok i juss bought my dream car i love it but there are a few problems....it has a walbro 255 fuel pump and it whines constantly also it wont let me rev passed 6k which is a bit upsetting juss wondering if anyone has come across this problem and could help thanx alot
My civic has a walbro pump in it and it works fine. I dont know if that would have anything to do with the pump though unless its going bad. Check you TPS and make sure its calibrated correctly. Are you getting any check engine light codes?
no i just bought the car, the boy i bought it off of is into volkswagons and does not know what kind of ecu it is. I will look at the Ecu and see what kind it is because i do not think its a honda unit so it may not have cel.

I hope you mean its an aem standalone or something along those lines cause otherwise wtf are you talking about......also the walboro pumps are louder then stock were you can hear them if your listening for them and as far as the redline being 6k maybe you can tell us what car you have what motor is in it and is the check light on in the dash....
