how reliable is cutting and welding your shift linkage?

Default how reliable is cutting and welding your shift linkage?

ok... my b-series engine came with the shift linkage and was wondering if i could cut and weld it to fit my crx. so yeah how reliable is that?

All depends on who welds it.

Tons of guys on here have integra GS-R linkage cut to size. Feels way better than any aftermarket linkage.

If welded properly, it will be as reliable as stock.
