Default Blackstone oil analysis: bad bearings. Now what?

My engine makes a lot of noise. Kinda sounds like rocks in a blender. I sent in an oil sample to Blackstone and they found lots of metals in the oil, including lead. Lead only comes from bearings, they say. So I have bad bearings.

My question is, which bearings could it be? I have been told this necessarily means crankshaft bearings, and I'm better off buying a new engine because the crankshaft would have to be reground, etc. Is that the case? Should I replace my engine based on the results of an oil analysis?

Best way your goin be able to make the right decision is to pull it out flip it over and start inspecting and measuring G/L!

May be time for a build!
