Default Swap...FINALLY....done. Problems here: coolant bubbling, knocking sound, etc.

Finally got the ball joint fixed and the car is on the ground ready to roll. Problems I've encountered, PLEASE HELP:

1. Radiator fluid bubbling. Could there be too much in there. The reserve was full and the s**t was bubbling like it was ready to boil over and explode.

2. Idling low. It would idle fine, but at stoplights would flucuate and idle really low. It died a couple times as well.

3. Knocking sound, like metal clanging...when I blip/rev. Like I was revving on someone at the stoplight and it would make that clanging sound. I don't know if it was coming from around the header area or near there.

4. When I would accelerate, and get off the pedal, then get on the pedal again it would hesitate and sometimes not immediatly respond to me pressing the accelerator.

Help and any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

Bubbling coolant is not good, could be head gasket. Do you have water in your oil (milky colored oil dipstick)?

I wouldn't "rev" on anyone with a bad running motor. Your not gonna help the problem only make it worse.

I'm using a 95 GSR ECU. I didn't bleed the coolant. I'm hoping that is the problem.

Also, no check engine light or codes

I wasn't revving on someone, i just used it as an example per say. Thanks for the help guys.

You need to bleed the coolant lines.. It will cause the engine to stutter and act funny.
