Clutch questions---------1st gen B series!!?!?!??
I have installed a B16A in my CRX and the clutch is messed up....it wont disengage.
The question I have is, are there any differences in the pressure plates from the big shaft trannies to the small shaft trannies?
It won't disengage no matter where I adjust the cable....
New DA clutch cable
New disk
New release bearing
New pilot bearing
New flywheel
Slightly used pressure plate
I'm so pissed off at this project I'm about ready to ruin the car.......
everyone always likes pics......

ANY ADVICE OR HELP MUCH APPRECIATED!
Oh yeah.....Is 60 psi too much for fuel pressure? Will it cause a problem being that high?

ok take it easy, something similar happened to me. Have someone press on the clutch pedal and try to move the clutch release fork up. If it moves, then you need to adjust the clutch cable. If you modified the stock clutch cable then you might have cut too much.
What clutch cable did you use?
Do you feel your clutch pedal very very light? Like the gas pedal?
If so, do this:
1. Find a DA clutch cable Or
2. Find a bushing and some washers, cut them on the side and slide them on top of the other bushing of the clutch cable.

It feels like a clutch should when I adjust it way too tight, the arm moves like it should....but the clutch wont let go...it wont even get loose at all.....

I know 60 is a lot higher than stock......My question is, will that hurt anything?
The stock regulator puts it at about 36....The matching AEM one that I bought put it at 60 psi and would not adjust with the screw...
....so I took it off.

ihad something similar like that happen to me too.. but my tranny was just rebuilt so it needed more tranny fluid. it would not disengage either. as soon as i put tranny fluid in there and just let it soak for a while, thenit was smooth as butter.
ok, this how i get , right about now you feel like no one understands right.haha
so, get some one to push the clutch and look if the cable and the and fork are moving like there supposed to be.
i dont know if the PP are different or not but if its a lil too big you can run into this problem.
ill tell you if there is nothing obstructing the PP from making contact wit the clutch disk, then you prob. have the wrong PP
