Hey guys im throwing code 8 (top dead center sensor) and code 16 (fuel injectors) i know the code 16 is from a bad main relay but the code 8 i believe is i just need a new dizzy. my question is i have the d15b Dual point motor, what dizzy will work with this motor? thanks for your help in advance

any 88-91 dual point dist should work. To make sure get one for the year of your car. You can also check the code thats on one of the arms thats on the dist is should be something like TD-01U or something like that.

 

so you are saying i can only use a dual point dizzy? i cant use any other obd 0 dizzy?

ok after being a jackass and realizing that the whining noise was my fuel pump i replaced the main relay and the cap and rotor and i still dont have anything. the car doesnt turn over, but if i jump start the car it runs until i turn it off.... any suggestions guys??
