benen fuel rail question

Default benen fuel rail question

i received my benen fuel rail in the mail today.. i was looking at where the FPR hooks to it.. the middle hole doesnt go all the way through.. correct me if i'm wrong but do i drill that out?

same question here, mine is a bdl fuel rail, my hole for the pressure regulator does go straight tru but the other whole for like a fuel pressure gauge doesn't.. Am i suppose to tap it out? I've never bought an aftermarket fuel rail but i was force to when my oem one misteriously disapeared..
I'll try to post pics in a bit to help explain myself

hard to see but you can see that it is sealed, so if i put a gauge it wont read



the hole on far left is sealed off


What do i do? Try to Tap it out? how?

call the manufacturer and ask them.. I'm sure they would know before anyone on here would.

The hole between the two threaded ones needs to be drilled out. They do this so if you are running another form of regulator you don't have to block off the hole. Say a aeromotive,ect that would mount to the side of the rail, or have a line running to it off the side. Make sure you put the "O" ring under your regulator to.

I have the same fuel rail for my d16z6 and I have had problems with it running rich.

The fuel rail will have nothing to do with it running rich. The injectors, fuel pressure regulator, and other things may. But definitely not the rail.

its odd. i took it off and went back to stock and have had no problems. I still think it shouldnt make a difference but I dont know.
