a buddy of mine is selling a ef hatch with a b16 motor and an ls transmission....the body is starting to rust and is mixmatched it has an sir bumper i believe and rear disc brakes....the motor has been blown up and rebuilt 3 or 4 times from what ive heard.

first off he wants 1200 for it and i dnt wanna give it to him cuz of the body is a mess and he said vtec wont kick sometimes....

second...because of the motor blowin up so much do u think it is at risk of it again?

i think im gonna offer him 800 for it first....wat do u think should b the most i pay for her...cuz i really want an ef?....thanx

 

We are not going to make a decision for you. You decide if getting a project that probably needs $1k to drive straight is worth it.

AND Motors don't just blow up out of nowhere, people build them shitty or run shitty 'moo-gann' ecus or just beat the ever living **** out of them. Hmotorsonline has b16s for est. $900 - $1000 shipped. But once again, YOUR DECISION.

 

6 months ago i bought a 91 crx. b16a, ys1 tranny, clutch, flywheel, skunk2's, short shifter, exhaust, and a decent gauge cluster for 1500. i re did the cam seal and everything is good. there are way better deals out there. but yea, your decision.
