Ok, i am stuck right now on what i want to do. In winter i will be starting a build. Money is not really an issue but i will not sleeve the bottom end and throw forged internals because that is when money does become an issue.
I have the choice of these two setups. please note, the rebuilt head is already rebuilt.
Setup 1
-Rebuilt h22a4, new springs, retainers, valves, valve guides, valve seals, completely cleaned, port and polished, Stock cams, skunk2 cam seal
-New gaskets
-used h22 USDM block with roughly 40-50,000kms
-skunk2 intake manifold
-lovefab turbo manifold
-WS2 exhaust
-hks bov
-tial wastegate
-turbo
-intercooler
-lines/etc
-s300
The motor will be running 250whp daily
Setup 2
-Rebuilt h22a4, new springs, retainers, valves, valve guides, valve seals, completely cleaned, port and polished, Stock cams, skunk2 cam seal
-New gaskets
-used h22 JDM block with roughly 40-50,000kms
-Zex wet kit, 75 shot
-SMSP, or SSR header
-Skunk2 intake manifold
-Skunk2 68mm throttle body
-CAI with funnel
-WS2 exhaust
-S300
Both setups are pretty solid imo. The engine in both cases will be pretty much brand spanking new. They will include new waterpumps, oil pumps, a walbro 255lb fuel pump, all new gaskets/seals for the whole motor. What is getting me is just which to go.
I really want N/A but i don't want to put cams in because that means my rebuilt head needs to be pulled apart and about $1200 more into it. With the stock head and cams and that setup i could break 200whp and have a nice back up of no2 to jump that number much higher, a little higher than the turbo.
What do you guys think. I am really stumped on what i should do... I have lots of time to think about it but it is the nitrous i am worried about on a stock h22 head. Is the 75 shot safe? will it be fine on the motor? Am i better off just buying all new valvetrain and cams, buying direct port and enjoy an 100shot?
HELP me honda-tech!!!

250whp on a street turbo could be very reliable, i think that figure could be achieved with even one of the "kits" they offer. IMO that would be the better choice because you have power on tap at all times, and if it isn't what you expected.. you could just pull the turbo off and return to N/A since you're not building the bottom end. anyways good luck w/ the decision
