Default water spots on mycf hood

hey guys im starting to get water spots on the clear of my cf hood any tips , would be nice.

Clay bar isn't designed to remove water spots, only surface contaminants.

thats what water spots are. minerals from water, dried out on the surface

I've never been able to take off water spots with a clay bar. That's because water spots aren't loose contaminates 'stuck' to the clear. They're hard water stains on the clear and depending on how long they've been there, they bond to the clear and build up and get thicker and taller. That is why wetsanding is sometimes neccessary in their removal.

A clay bar would be useless unless the water spots are only hours old at the most. Of course, you could remove them with a rag at that point.
