Default Cat Convertors

Hi guys,
You all have been a great help top me on several topics, hope the info keeps coming!!
Where is the best place (price) to get a replacement cat? The car failed the E-check test here in Ohio last year and my gas milage is falling off. I hear this is a sign the cat is getting clogged.
Ideas, answers?

Sorry, the car is a 1.5 DX 95'

Thanks!

can probably go to autozone and pick up a universal one for cheap or go to a muffler shop and see what they recommend as a good but cheap CAT

Well, for about $120, carsound (CatCo) makes a weld-in replacment that is 50 state legal. I dont know about a direct bolt-in cat, other than a replacment either from the dealer ( way to expensive) or a junkyard ( hard to come across). I would suggest the carsound cat, and bring it to a muffler shop and let them install it ( or anyone you know with a welder)
