i just bought this car, completely stock. 182k miles. when i am cruising and dont have my foot on the gas, and then put it back on, for about 2 seconds there is this weird whistling sound. pretty much every time i touch the gas except in first gear. i dont think its a pulley because it is coming from the passenger side of the bay. and i cant really pop the hood and see where it comes from since its only when driving. i tried searching but no one had the exact thing i have.

 

my crx made a whistle noise when I drove the same way. Its never caused any problems with my motor. After I swaped the motor to a Z6 it whistle louder due to the ported and polished head, intake mani. and 65mm TB.

I wouldn't worry about it as long as it dosent get louder or do it all the time.
