Some happenings in my garage - 94 Ex 2dr makeover
Well, last year a group of us decided to go to nopi in St Louis. On the trip out there, my car broke on the highway. We thought it was an axel clip, because the axel kept popping out of the tranny. I had the car towed back to my house and took a differennt car. I have not messed with my car, driven it, or bought any new parts until after christmas when i pulled the tranny out because of a leak (actually moved the car and saw a puddle). It ended up my tranny went dry, and broke. I ordered a few new parts, and found a garage where I could take it apart and go through it again.
Im trying to build a nice sleeper for myself. I am doing this by trying to make the car as light as possible, while looking completly stock with full interior visable.
Sorry about the crappy pics, i lost my camera chord so these are off my phone. if you guys like this tho i can get the chord and take more as time goes on. try not to flame too hard.
here is the broken internals of the tranny

I started by pulling out the engine harness, battery, dash, heater core, blower assembly, and removing the fusebox.
here is how i left that side

started to twist and wrap the plugs(none are used)

and done with the fuse box on the inside

and here goes the sound tar:

here is how the firewall and conversion harness look now

cleaned up part of the motor harness for a tuck when installed

i have removed everything(almost) from the engine bay, and am cleaning/sanding/painting the engine bay black over the next few days as i wait on my tranny to be rebuilt by honda.
Passenger side

too lazy to finish pulling the motor yet

you can kinda see the drivers side

front of the car

making a new charge harness - mounting the battery under the dash, and running all wires through where the heater core was (charge harness and engine harness)

how "stock" the interior looks (yes, i have the black trim that goes around the cluster, its just not back in yet)

I removed all of the air ducts, and MOST of the back plastic, just leaving the outer shape of the dash like a shell

fusebox is mounted here - i took the glovebox out and am just using the front grey panel in its stock location, but i will not have a glove box. all my stuff is kept in my center console.

new tranny parts (shorter final drive
) i also have a OBX LSD that i took apart, rehoned the inside and installed new (non-OBX) internals going in the tranny.

I am removing the power windows and locks, and replacing with a manual window assembly and door panel. the only EX option i am keeping (that matters weight wise) is the sunroof

My pile o' parts (CF hood, NEX coilovers, a full rear disc conversion with: powerslot rotors, spherical trailing arm bushings, EBC green stuff pads, Sage racing camber kit, and SS brake lines; stage 2 axels, DTR header, RBC intake manifold, and probably other crap in forgetting)

the CF hood is getting painted to match white, as well as a new front bumper
my crappy front suspension setup (about to change probably) tokico blue strut, ebay sleeve (trashed the spring), 7000k skunk2 coilover springs, powerslot rotors, EBC redtuff pads, SS brake lines, custom traction bar

custom CAI with a supra filter (sub-ambiant IAT's over 35mph, and i have proof via datalogs!)

an old installed pic (excuse the shitty engine bay, the car REALLY needed a makeover)

view from old bumper of filter (was cut becuase the car used to have a turbocharged b18c1 in it)

Shitty intake from before

how the car looked last time i drove it

has a full 3" catless exhaust with the black vibrant 3" muffler

Also in the garage/driveway here (we havent started working on the EK i just snapped a quick pic, and i dont have many pics of the EF yet)
EK coupe, fully built b18c1, sc-61

We are gonna see how fast a stock LS motor can go

i wish i had a pic of the whole car, its pretty damn clean for never having been repainted
