What model is the car? Was the car dpfi or mpfi? If the car was dpfi the tps wires would be switched on the outside wires. (Basically do not touch the one in the middle but depin and repin the outside ones. Switch spots)

What did you modify? The engine harness plug or the dizzy plug? If you were dpfi check your wiring. Should be the 2 white wires you would have the switch if i am correct. correct me if i'm wrong.

I forget where you can tap it into the dizzy side.

Hope any of this helps.

thanks for the info, the car is a 91 si, it was fuel injected but the intake mani didnt come with a tps so i had a spare tps laying around that happened to be dual point. im running a z6 intake mani now on the stock si harness. so if im reading correctly you switch the 2 outside wires and leave the middle one along?

that dpfi tps your running is not right for that manifold it is set for throttle position for dpfi the only other thing i would try is with a volt meter tap in to the wires going to the tps there should be 3 and i think its the one in the middle you will no if its right because with the key on you'll have voltage if its right anyway when you have the right wire and it shows voltage losen the tps sensor and move it till the voltage say 4.5 volts then the tps will be right if this doesent fix it change the tps off a mpfi tb also do this same thing with that one too so it will work right hope this helps u

sup matt

op, the dpfi tps won't work like 89gsrhatch said. if you have a b-series throttle body with a good tps, slap it on. goodluck
