H22 rear bracket question?
whats up fellas here is a question for h22 peeps. . . what rear engine mount bracket are you guys using. i'm using a 95' h22 with hasport mounts. My rear bracket seems to be about 1/2 inch to long, the engine won't bolt up. The tranny mount and engine mount are fine. I've looked at the search here on the site but so far no luck. Any help would be helpful. I'm a newbie so don't rip me a new one. Thanks

Get ESP EF H22 Motor Mount Kit lol jk....
92-96 Prelude rear bracket preferably H23 or H22 model
90-93 Accord Dx or Lx rear bracket is the same rear bracket
Correct there are some differences from rear brackets from Accord and Prelude. Mainly the Ex model 90-93 Accord and CD 94-97 They use a taller mount and a different rear bracket....
If you use the taller mount rear bracket the engine will obviously have a wierd tilt to it and should be compressing your trans mount and driver mount to one side of the chassis bracket

Thanka alot ESP you just solved my problem. As soon as I get my bad boy on the road I'll be hitting you guys up to get that strut bar that you guys sell, it looks really agressive. Thanks again.

Well I just got my new bracket from Steve (hmotorsonline). And I still have the same problem, So has anyone clear this out for me. What rear bracket are you using (H22 into a 88' honda Civic)? Thanks

yeah bro, I was just looking at the same instructions right now, and I noticed that Hasport EGHRB rear prelude bracket (rear engine mount bracket from 93-95 prelude VTEC) I looked up that part number and it gave me a 94-01 Integra bracket, So now i'm kind of confused, like I said before my engine is a 95' JDM H22, don't know if it's a prelude engine or Accord engine, But Thanks.
