I will bite. The closer you get to a "race" car the less airbags you will see. I don't run them. I wanted to lose the weight and its more of a track car and I trust in my seat belt. the best bet would be a "cage" and 5 point harness. imo dono about them blowing during a launch

Seems to happen often with the Supras. That's the 3rd video I've seen and I'm sure there are more of this happening.

I saw a S14 airbag pop on the launch. It busted the passenger window, cracked the front windshield, and cracked the dash when he launched the car. The owner was pissed but then later laughed it off. It caused a lot of damage. I'd be careful w/ the airbags and launching hard. After I saw that I tell everyone to at least disconnect the module if they are drag racing. It's not worth an insurance claim.

Pull the fuse at the track and put it back on the street. If the car never sees the street there is no reason to run one anyway.

do you guys realize that its takes less than 1 volt to set off an airbag. We set one off with a cell phone battery after we took mine out. Crazy i would deff not leave them in now matter what fuse you pull.

Regardless of the voltage needed to set it off, its unplugged then its harmless.

Mine is comming out. Had and airbag deploy on me before in a minor accident, that **** hurts. Given it'd help in a serious accident, but i don't need it to go off unexpectedly and cause an accident.

Here's a video an airbag going off on a firefighter when he was trying to rescue people out of a car.
