Default Cold Air extension

I have a DC Sports DAC intake on my GSR. Does anybody know if DC sells an extension piece that I cold attach for cold-air? It doesn't have to be DC either....it could be a generic piece that would fit and do the job.
Thanks in advance...

I'll see if I can get one through Top Speed in Dallas. They might have something in the ways of odds and ends to make it inexpensive and easy for you to do cold-air.

Sure you could go and buy an Injen extension like he said.. I was going to buy one, and then I figured I'd do a custom ICE-BOX... I have short ram Injen intake and didn't feel like spending more money for something that would suck up water.. So what I did was I took the stock air filter box and placed the end of the Injen intake along with the filter installed on it in the stock air filter box. Then I put tape over the open space where the Injen intake went out to the throttle body. After that, I took the stock intake tube and shoved it into the bottom of the stock air filter box and extended it down to the bottom of splash guard. And just to make sure it worked, I had my wife rev the car while I felt for a vacuum from the extension.. There you go, that's my idea... Later...

Thanks In-Vtec.....That INJEN one was pretty expensive ($64+shipping was best I could find.) But, I think I may go with the ICEBOX idea for now. I still have my old air box laying around somewhere. The only thing is I will probably have to buy a different filter from what I've found on the subject. K&N sells a filter that fits pretty good in the airbox.
Thanks again.....

I have something that you might be interested in. It is a DIY "Icebox" CAI, which utilizes the stock airbox. Go to http://www.geocities.com/bretq/DIY_Icebox_CAI.html for information and pictures on making the DIY "Icebox".

Cool....Thanks BSQ. I checked it out and I think I'm going to give this a shot. Looks to be pretty inexpensive and might do exactly what I am wanting.

I picked up the cold air extension peices from Top Speed in Dallas. It ran around $50 for all the parts. It worked pretty well on my civic and I could feel gains and hear a sound difference.
