on my shift column indicator on my dash by spedo, it goes through all gears 12 d3 d4 but after running at higher rpms for a few minutes , no matter what gear i am in the d4 lights up with a green flashing light, i can put it in park and \the "p" lights up red but the d4 turns from flashing green to a solid green can anyone help?

 

should be a solid green, if its flashing randomly you might have a bad ground somewhere in the dash, or a bad bulb.

That indicates a fault with the transmission.

 

The light is flashing to indicate a fault in the transmission. Check your manual
