Default FS: 2006 Yamaha R1 Raven BLACK, MINT SoCal

SELLING THIS FOR A FRIEND.

The only difference from this picture and the bike in current form is that the upper frame slider has been replaced with black "race railz." While the mileage may seem high to some, I take immaculate care of my bikes. This bike will easily see 100,000 miles if taken care of.

they'll go that high. but a lot of people aren't interested in buying a bike with 40K miles if they can get something with lower miles for less.

the main reason that bikes don't see 100k is because they are crashed before they make it there, not because they aren't reliable enough to. i would be willing to bet that this thing could easily see 100k, especially if ridden at the pace the original owner has been riding. price may seem high, but he is listening to offers, so let's cut him some slack. glws dude.

The reason you have such high miles is that you went -1/+3 on the sprockets. The bike probably doesn't have a 1/2 of those miles. You're speedo and odo are off when you do a sprocket change. You have to install a speedo healer to adjust the speedo/tach/odo when you do a sprocket change or your mileage racks up twice as fast. Sucks now that you're trying to sell the bike w/ such high miles when it probably just hit 25-28K miles!!

Just food for thought for potential buyers. I own a 2006 R1 also and when I do a sprocket change I'm installing a speedo healer at the same time.
