Default DSM turbo set-up on a JDM DOHC F22?

I hit up a local engine importer and looked at some engines... $650 gets me a DOHC F22.... then he mentioned about DSM turbo swaps he used to do back i the day.

Hmmm... what are potential problems? I plan on swapping in the DOHC motor as my engine's higher mileage (174k but still healthy) and my longing for a turbo.

I did research it a bit... looks like i can only use earlier LX motors or the JDM F22 (o-o-o-o exhaust pattern).

Fuel management/tuning seems to be the only issue.

JDM dohc F22 head = Same port patern as USDM H23 non-vtec Head

so a dsm turbo setup would work ...

Yeah, the Mitsu parts should bolt on with little problem.

The JDMf22 has higher compression, but is still iron sleeved right? The guy at the shop said i'd be putting down 200-250whp depending on tune and boost level.

Anyone know anything about this?

with a big 16g turbo i can see those kind of #'s. teamlegacy had a stock f22a with h23 intake mani, dsm junkyard tubo setup with a 16g turbo and put down 270whp and 240tq tuned on Crome.

engine managment is easy. read up a little... you can get a civic p06 ecu chip it and put an f22 bin on it and tune it with Crome.

I know the tuning/fuel management isn't hard, but its still something I'll have to farm out. Don't trust myself tuning stuff like this.
