i got a 91 honda civic dx with a ls/vtec swapp

my car doesnt want to start..... sometime it starts up first try...then i drive it for a while then when i turn off the car it wont start...i have to jump start it... i changed the starter alternator and i've been switching my batteries..and just changed my terminals yesterday...checked the fuses and they were all fine...i checked the voltage when the car is running its around 13.8v so that means the alternator is charging it...then i turn off the car and it wont start anymore...then i check the battery when its off its at 12.0v just like 5mins ago...something is killing my battery..have anyone had this problem??...

ps: my starter bolt wasnt bolted down tight and it worked fine and then problem started after i bolted it down..

 

does it crank?

might be your main relay. do you hear clicks from the relay?

 

it doesnt crank...the relay doesnt click...if i jump start it will start up...

 

your battery should give off 12v when the car is off. that is normal

if your relay isnt clicking you need to repalce it or resolder the inside connections that arnt sound.

 

im gonna try to relays hopefully thats the problem..thankz
