ECU fuse keeps blowing!!!!!! HELP!!!
I have a 93 prelude with an H22 swap. i was driving 2 weeks ago and the car died. it was a 15 amp fuse for the ECU. i replaced it and it keeps blowing after 3 minutes of drive. i think a wire may be open and touching metal causing it to short out. this is a bad problem that keeps annoying me. Please give me some hints.
Its deffinately a open wire. I would check your o2 sensor wires first, their usually the prime culprits. other then that just keep tracing until u find a open wire in your engine bay. Sucks but not to much else you can do.
yeah, thats a dead short to ground. So start your car when you can, and let it idle. See if it ever dies that way. If it only happens while your actually driving, that limits the possibilities.
O2 is a good guess! (i'd check that aswell)
A p13 pinout for the ecu would be a necessity in your case!
I found the layout for the p14 using the search option in archives. I don't exactly remember what I typed in the search quary.
How long have you been driving problem free since the swap?
