Default fuel rail question

I originally posted this in the wrong section, and it hasnt been moved so . . .

Hey all, I have a question. I am just finishing up my wire tuck, before getting everything settled in, I wanted to see if everything is ok, and fire the car up, but when I was going to plug the injectors back in, they spewed releasing pressure, and began to leak gas, not one, not two, not three, but all of them. Obviously the o-rings are done, so I pulled the rail according to the manual, replaced them, and put it back.

Now, I think I might not be getting fuel back in the rail properly or something, as the car is not turning over. The reason I say that, is because I sprayed starting fluid inside, and she wanted to turn on, but didn't. Is there something I am not doing?

For some weird reason it sounds like the main fuel relay is not acting normal, should it not CLICK -pause- CLICK? It only Clicks and that is it once I put the key in. This is not the first time I had fuel delivery problems, so I'm almost certain it has nothing to do with a bad connection, but the way this car was wired previously and having to try to rewire it, who really knows.

BTW the car is an 89 EF LX 4 door with a b18a1 swap.

Please let me know if I am not doing something that I should be doing.

Thanks!

Is the car turning over or not? If the car does not turn over thats not a fuel problem thats electrical. If it turns over and does not start then you need to check spark fuel and hopefully its getting air. Do you have a fuel pressure gauge? If the main relay is not clicking than the fuel pump wont kick in and you need to check wiring since you modified stuff with the tuck. Take a multimeter and see if you are getting voltage at the main relay and work from there.

will do, this is not gonna be fun because these problems were already there before, it would always have a hard time turning over.

hmm, strange today I went and plugged it back in, and it was acting like it was supposed to, I would get a pressure release when I would turn the key off, then I disconnected the battery, and it started to act up again. I guess I will just need to completely swap out the harnesses, and wire it all up the right way instead of the ghetto fabbed way that it was.

Thanks again!
