Engine oil in the spark plug
Here's a few pictures from my timing belt project. This is the first time I have done something beyond checking the oil. At first, it was frustrating 'cause I don't have all the right tools. Now, I have removed the engine mounting bolts, removed the valve cover using 411 from this great website and about to remove the crankshaft bolt, which incidently, is a PITA to do. Anywho, a few pix with some questions...
1st picture: When I pulled the spark plug housing, one of them (first one on the left) had oil while the other three did not. Is that normal or should I be worried? Car was running great. Just wanted to change the timing belt before it breaks on me.
2nd picture: Two of the grommets were so hard to get out as it was melted stuck to the bolts. Normal, right?

Thanks, guys.

You have to change the rubber O-rings thats on the the valve cover(seal spark plug from oil)...Usually come with the valve cover gasket kit...might as well pick one up since u have the cover off.
Why is this question posted so much? It's not rocket science. Get a valve cover gasket kit and replace your spark plug tube seals. It will come with new bolt seals also.
