98 accord coupe EX sunroof won't close all the way
Gang,
My daughter's EX sunroof is about 1" short of closing all the way.
She can open, lift with no problem, but when pressing to close,
it slides forward then stops short of closing all the way.
Any clues of what might be the issue?.

I had problems with mine, but it stuck closed. The track had loosened and was blocking the glass from moving.
from inside the car, remove the 2 black plastic trim pieces on the sides of the glass. you can then unbolt the glass from the track. pay attention to the shims that are in there, you'll have to replace them in the same spots if you want the glass to be level and not leak. Once the glass is out you can run the motor and look for the problem.
