Default Hidden License Plate Holder

Has anyone tried installing this NSX plate hider on an integra? I was thinking about one of these so when I am on the track I have full air flow to my radiator.

For 100 bone, why not just take off your plate at the track?

Yeah, the price is a bit high but it seems to be very convenient as you don't need any tools to hide and show the plate. Also good when traveling outside to a state that does not require a plate.

One of these for the rear would be bad ***. Imagine rolling up to a meet in fear of thieves, and tada, the tags are gone haha.

Got a link to where they sell them?

This one is from science of speed. If you look elsewhere there are places that sell the motorized versions for front and back.

Agreed if you have the original license plate mount. I bought my car used and the plate was actually screwed into the front bumper with wood screws as the stock mounts were stripped and or missing!

Since I need to rebolt it on properly this seems to be a viable option except for the price.

It's a Honda, 99.9% can be unbolted, replace the nuts on the inside ( I think )

I looked at it the other day and the metal backing or whatever was there that was holding the bolt is completely gone. All I have left is the holes in the bumper with no metal or bolt backing. Still weighing my options on what to do as the screws directly in the bumper look so ghetto and are not secure.

The little metal backing plate thing is replaceable (that's actually spelled correctly, weird), as long as the little plastic plugs are still there. I had to do this on my Civic bumper and it worked fine.

Cool looking piece but a little pricey. We are required to have a front plate here . I choose to run on a demo plate because, well, I can

No plugs, all I have there is the holes in the bumper and nothing behind it. I guess when the previous owner upgraded to the 98 front end, the license plate mounting area was damaged.

Rivets would work, and wouldn't be too ugly when the license plate is removed.

Looking into rivet nuts right now but can't seem to find a cheap tool to install them with that will do up to M8 bolts.

Eh? No, I meant rivet on the little metal piece that your bolts would then screw into.

Looks pretty cool but I don't have that problem. No front plate on the caR. Wait a minute, no plate on the back either.
