Default bad axles?

okay heres the deal, i couldnt get my car to drive in any gear as well as starting it in first and had no jolt from the engine at all. i could feel the shifter go into gear. now, these axles were off my auto tranny as i did a at to mt swap. now, when i put the axles in i made sure to jam them in there, now, my question is, is there a possibility i damaged the axles when i took em out of my auto tranny? cause they are in there tight and is there a possibility i damaged the interior part of the axles where it connects to the tranny and not the tire? cause it just spins.

hope thats enough info for someone to give me a possible answer. i press on the gas with the car in first and it just revs like its in neutral.

I don't think you damaged anything. I know you said you popped them in all the way but it sounds like they might not be. or the trannys screwed but even so it should still go in reverse or take off in 2nd or something.

you said you put Auto Axels on your MT trans.. that might be the prob... There might not be a diff in lenghts
But there is a possibility the teeth that go into the tranny are diff..

did you doubble check the torque on clutch on flywheel before you slapped the tranny on?
