Default Coolant Shooting out of this Hose?

Ok so i swapped my D16Z6 into my hatch and i start the car up after a while coolant will shoot out of Hose #1. I dont have the connection tube (pic#2) that connects Hose #1 to Hose #3. Can i connect hose #1 and #3 somehow? i have seen engine bays that dont have that connecting breather tube(Pic#2) How do they manage that?

I vaguelly remember running into this issue with a manifold swap, ending up with an extra line outlet. I T'd the extra hose i had off with another small flow line and have not had a problem since.

Your talking about the black tube that has two "pipes" right? The top pipe is for the intake and the bottom pipe is for the coolant, right? If so, you should be able to just run a single hose from where line 1 starts at the engine and run it to where line 3 ends. Or put a tee in the middle to put them together but make sure you use clamps.

Yeah that's what I did and then I added a breather filter for the valve cover and got rid of the black piece.

he is talking about the coolant line not the valve cover.

Just got to the parts store and get rubber hose of the correct size and connect the points where the lines start. that is what i did.
