Default Hondata Reflash?

I was wondering if anyone has gotten the reflash for their SI yet. Im sure everyone knows what the reflash will do, but in case you dont know (The K20Z3-06Si reflash lowers the VTEC point to 4500 rpm, advances the cam angle and raises the rev limit to 8600 rpm.) I was wondering if that was worth getting or should i just save for a 1yr or 2 for a turbo kit. Thanks

It depends on what your planning in the future, If you want performance get a turbo or a comp-tech super charger. If you want more mid range power in daily driving etc, because the reflash adds mid range but you dont use mid range when you race except on take offs get the reflash. (Sorry for the Run-On!)

However I suggest if your just trying to make your car faster but not turbo fast, just complete the basic bolt ons if you havent like Intake/Header/Exhaust/ and then get the Reflash. Any order is good, with that your car will be pretty fast. Next you can work on the internal stuff.

Or just skip that and save up 2 to 3 grand and get a turbo/super charger

Yea get the Reflash, Its your best bet for now. Then you can save up because you have done pretty much everything you can. (Not counting the internals like lighter fly wheel, better clutch etc etc) Theres no big tuning options available but im sure you already know since you already did the basic bolt ons.

Im getting the reflash hopefully this weeked

Dont get me wrong, it does help you in racing because of the higher redline and 4500 v-tec engagement. Except after 1st gear in a racing situation you will keep landing over 6000 RPMs therefore, ur not using the mid range it adds or the 4500 v-tec engagement. The reflash adds alot of power and makes the cars throttle response better with more mid range, lower v-tec engagement and a higher redline. Most say it unleases the beast in the SI which is why I want it.

The reflash is what you need to reach peak performance without forced induction.

Im getting it as soon as I can

i have the reflash and its worth every penny. feels like a whole different car both in DD and when you drive it hard to the rev limit.
