ok guys i took my 96 ex coupe to the track on friday nite took two passes and now today(monday) i noticed while driving this faint metal to metal sound with a slight vibration and its coming from the drivers side wheel.I notice it more when turning the wheel during a turn and when going at slower speeds. My thought is either the axle or tie rod i know the tie rod has a busted boot i havent replaced it yet. I was also thinking wheel bearing but i highly doubt it.
But if anyone can shed some light on my problem that would be great???
thanks in advance h-t

alright dude, check it out... I have the same issue. It all started when i went curb hoppin in my si!
I bent the hell out of my lca and the sway bar/link got all bent up too... so i replaced the lca, but haven't bought a new swaybar so its not connected to my lca (yes, im working on getting it fixed, back off!
) I have the same noise, and I believe its this said "brake shield or brake plate". I guess its basically just used to keep **** out of the brake/block brake dust... I was told to just "bend it back, and it wont do that anymore". It doesnt really matter at all i guess, so if you want to replace it, you could, otherwise bend it! all ya gotta do is turn your steering wheel all the way to the right and reach back there and bend it! otherwise, jack it up and bend it back! thats my .02 for ya!
