quick question
anyone know of any possibilities involving superchargers for an auto ex?
or even turbo for that matter? I've heard they're weak and shouldn't be done. Just trying to get other opinions, might just end up makin a tranny swap.. they're like 1k or less right?

Sell the car if you want a manual, it's just not worth it. Finding all the pieces, big and little.. and then the car has a destroyed resale value, most likely won't run 100% like it should.. all for nothing.
THere's a turbo out you can get for the auto, I'm sure it won't be all that fast though. 180 WHP at best I'm guessing. The makers of it were claiming someone was getting 235 WHP on it, but they coudl only produce mid 180s at the flywheel. So who knows

just wondering.
There's not much I can do as of now, the car was a grad gift from the momz... I dunno what she was thinkin though, I'd learn to drive on a 5spd 92 prelude then I had a 5spd 02 rsx and totalled it literally like 1month before graduation... then mom bought my 06civic ex paid in full.. AUTO TRANNY.. kinda dissappointing but I'm trying to make the best of it

This kit is by Turbo Specialties. There is another kit for the R18 engines by AEM I think. They are claiming 220 to the wheels for the kit in the link above if you have an aftermarket exhaust system. But people that have actuallly bought the kit are claiming they are getting closer to 235 to 240 with an exhaust and running about 7psi. But then again I saw you posted in another thread saying you don't like catback exhaust systems for some reason. Oh and you have an auto tranny too, ya... you're not going to get anywhere near even 220.

just buy the turbo if you want to get more hp...you'll probably get the 190whp since it seems that all the r18 stuff is being test fitted on auto's. i havent seen the AEM kit so i dunno about that.
what tranny would you swap? i dont really think you have any options on a tranny swap unless you do a motor swap as well, and would you really spend that much money to get a transmission that has problems? as the k-series trannies are famous for having.
i dont see a supercharger coming out for an FG for a while, but once it does it will probably be a shafted kit.
in the end...you are looking to spend $$$$$$$ with any of these mods you want to do.
just buy an intake, weapon-r header, megan downpipe, and lsd exhaust and leave your car alone. save your money and buy an eg/ek/em etc etc an do something to those cars.
