Default Need suggestions on a swap, but I need to keep A/C

I have a 91 crx si that I use for car audio competitions. I probably don't put more than 3000 miles on it per year.
It has the stock motor in it now, and it has around 200k miles on it.
Since I usually drive it in the summer, I have to keep the air conditioning in it.

I was thinking about the sohc zc from HMO, but they are usually out of stock.
I even thought about putting the type R motor in it because I heard I could get a bracket for it and keep the a/c.

Let me know what you suggest.
Thanks

Both B series and D series motors can fit A/C same with both the sohc and dohc ZC.

So that leaves you a lot of options of what motor you'd like.

You'll have to either pick out what you want or give us more to work with to help you.

the only swap you have to worry about a/c with is H/F series or K series swaps. ANY B or D series a/c is retainable. with D series nomatter what all stock stuff will work. with B series you need a differant compressor mount bracket.

Thanks for the responses.
This crx is for car audio competitions only. I need a new motor because the stock motor is getting really weak. I need it to be reliable because I drive it to local shows in KC/MO, and sometimes to AR, OK, NE, IA, etc.

I'd like to have something stronger than the stock motor, but I don't race it or anything. In fact, I will keep my stock exhaust system unless there is a performance one that is just as quiet.

Where do I buy the compressor mount bracket for a B-series?

Thanks again.

I'm thinking about the sohc zc or gsr swap from HMO.
I am not sure if the gsr is worth it or not????

The gsr would be nice in the crx. The zc is nice too and its easy. But g/l with whatever you decide on.
