hey guys, its probably been coverd before... but speedcut does not come up in search
so thought it would be easier to post here...
just finished my ae86 + f20c.. usuing stock ecu + dash
just wondering if the old methods of getting rid of speedcut still work
ie: apexi vafc, apexi rsm, even the old school field vtec controller...
now this is a racecar... and with my 4.3 final drive, and smaller 15" wheels the 180kph speedcut is actualy coming in around 160ish... and if i have any chance at being competitive... speedcut must go!
any help
cheers

You can't, you need to pick up a US spec ECU or a UK ecu which has it's speed cut at 250kph I believe which is 155.35mph.
180kph = 111.85mph
160kph = 99.42mph
So the 160kph speed cut is correct. You can also change the gauge cluster to read mph by pushing the button.

I don't know, never had to use them. But the stuff you mentioned in your first post, the VAFC, Vtec controler and so forth will not work.
Why not just go with a standalone engine management system for some more power and more tuneability for your racing?
